About the Role

HIMMATPURA LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logbooks and other documentation as required.
  • Communication: Utilize GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure efficient and safe transportation of goods.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willing to travel cross-border and for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Able to handle heavy loads and sit for extended periods.
