Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at MY CARE COMPANION LTD. as a permanent position.

Work Setting:

This role will be based in a home care and visiting care agency, working with patients in various locations, including their homes, hospitals, and medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide support with daily living tasks.
  • Perform personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain patients' rooms.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance on healthy living.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to patient needs.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
