Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Mosaic Seniors Care Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to provide high-quality patient care and support in our healthcare setting. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily needs, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
