Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Darwin Gadioma. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Care for foster children
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Experience with special needs children, including children with mental health disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a childcare provider or in a related field
  • Knowledge of child development and education
  • First aid and CPR certification
Work Environment:

Our clients' homes, with occasional travel to appointments and activities

Language:

English

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week
