About the Role

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess emerging technologies and trends.
  • Lead the design and execution of proof of concepts (POCs) to validate the applicability of new technologies within our organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors, startups, and industry partners to stay abreast of innovation trends and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology best practices and standards for sustainment and maintenance of new technologies.
  • Develop and implement a culture of innovation and technology awareness across the organization.
  • Stay current on innovative and emerging technology advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in technology assessment, proof of concept development, and establishing technology standards within a large technology enterprise.
  • Hands-on and practical experience with experimental technology and frameworks, including cloud, data, and analytics.
  • Passion for innovation and staying abreast with technological advancements.
  • Ability to envision and articulate real-world applications of technology.
  • Retail or consumer goods industry experience is an asset.
