Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Lead to join our team at Walmart Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various levels of management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compliance and safety awareness training to associates and managers, leveraging Ethics and Compliance resources.
  • Conduct assessments in facilities to identify compliance gaps and drive corrective actions.
  • Analyze data to identify program execution gaps and trends, and support the creation and execution of action plans to mitigate risk.
  • Participate in regulatory visits, including online submissions and engagement with partners for resolution of orders or fines.
  • Manage the hourly associate accident file process, including online submissions, accident investigations, and follow-up until resolution.
  • Foster two-way communication with Store Management to ensure attendance management, progress note completion, and accountability.
  • Assist with collection and verification of required items/documents for customer claim folders.
  • Submit and follow up on Facilities Maintenance requests, including management of pest activity.
  • Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a retail or similar industry.
  • Certifications in compliance or a related field.
