Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

At National Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team. As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and guidance to our business units, ensuring that our operations are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to business units on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address legal issues and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and provide guidance on how to comply with them.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements:
  • LL.B. or J.D. degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to financial institutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
