About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our fundraising efforts as a Senior Manager, Development. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Fundraising: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to drive growth and revenue for AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter.
  • Individual Giving Program: Design and execute a targeted individual giving program to cultivate and solicit major gifts from key stakeholders.
  • Staff Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to a team of development professionals, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations are established and maintained.
  • Stewardship and Recognition: Develop and implement a stewardship and recognition program to acknowledge and appreciate donors and supporters.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of fundraising initiatives and events.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the pipeline of qualified prospects and proposals to ensure effective engagement and conversion.
  • Prospect Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of corporate, foundation, and government prospects to identify new funding opportunities.
  • Proposal Development and Grant Writing: Assist in the development of pitch materials and proposals to secure funding from key stakeholders.
  • Communications and Content Management: Create and curate compelling content to support fundraising initiatives and events.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Provide timely reports on fundraising progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Results-driven professional with a proven track record in fundraising and development.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with excellent project management and process implementation skills.
  • Experience in relevant fundraising software and associated tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior staff and Board members to implement fundraising plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on prospect research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate stakeholders.
