About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Production Manager to join our team at 3085496 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Management

Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and recommend replacement of machines as needed.

Quality Control and Assurance

Direct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Process Improvement and Optimization

Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.

Financial Management

Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.

Operational Leadership

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives.

Work Environment and Requirements

Fast-paced environment with a large workload and overtime requirements.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Personal Qualities
