Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the order process while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves putting away counter and warehouse stock, picking, receiving and shipping duties when required, confirming stock availability and suggesting alternatives, directly servicing customers via phone & counter sales, processing orders, inquiries & quotations, maintaining a high level of customer service, participating in regular cycle counts and annual inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Puts away counter and warehouse stock efficiently and accurately.
  • Takes ownership of picking, receiving, and shipping duties as required.
  • Confirms stock availability and offers suitable alternatives to meet customer needs.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service through phone and counter sales interactions.
  • Processes orders, inquiries, and quotations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintains a high standard of customer satisfaction throughout all interactions.
  • Participates in regular cycle counts and annual inventory activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse and counter sales environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both verbal and written communication abilities.
  • In-depth product knowledge of the electrical industry.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle various tasks and situations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently.
