Job Summary

The Manitoba Government is seeking a skilled Building Superintendent to join their team in The Pas. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of buildings and grounds, providing exceptional customer service, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, minor household repairs, and grounds maintenance
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and stakeholders
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and conduct unit and property inspections
  • Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, common areas, site offices, and common area washrooms
  • Deliver tenant notices and conduct routine inspections on fire safety systems and equipment

Requirements

  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Experience performing minor plumbing repairs and minor household repairs
  • Ability to perform grounds maintenance and operate landscaping machinery
  • Ability to clean and sanitize common areas
  • Ability to prioritize workloads with competing deadlines
  • Strong verbal communication skills

Working Conditions

  • Must be physically capable to perform the duties related to the position
  • Must be able to provide own transportation and travel within The Pas
