Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Snakland Inc. as a key member of our retail operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Order and Manage Merchandise: Place orders for merchandise, manage inventory levels, and ensure that stock is accurately recorded and stored.
- Authorize Returns and Manage Cash: Process returns, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records of sales and returns.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service to maintain a positive reputation for Snakland Inc.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that inventory is accurately recorded, stored, and rotated to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of sales staff, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Manage Payroll Administration: Process payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review the performance of sales staff, provide feedback, and develop plans to improve performance.
As a Retail Store Supervisor at Snakland Inc., you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, willing to relocate.
- Transportation: Public transportation available.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
