Manufacturing Process Engineer with Electrical Expertise

Job Summary
The Process Engineering Technologist will oversee the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies into production. This role involves reviewing existing processes, transitioning technologies, and ensuring seamless batch scale-ups.
Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes for new products in collaboration with marketing and product design teams.
- Design and implement cost-effective production processes for new products.
- Establish detailed specifications and execute production plans.
- Conduct efficiency and accuracy tests on systems until a quality and cost-effective production process is implemented.
- Oversee process design projects and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain adherence to financial budgets throughout the manufacturing process.
- Enhance present manufacturing production processes to boost productivity, quality, and profitability.
- Recommend new manufacturing technology and collaborate with the engineering department to improve production equipment functionality.
- Implement the transition of new technology to ensure successful production continuity.
- Monitor adherence to the company's safety program by all employees and subcontractors.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
- Advise on improvements in tracking and reporting procedures.
- Lead and/or participate in teams with safety, technical, management, and other members.
- Act as a team leader for special task forces or teams on occasion.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering or an Engineering Technologist diploma in Mechanical or a related manufacturing discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment are required.
- CAD experience drawing in 3D is necessary.
- Additional knowledge in TS16949, ISO14001, PLC and HMI programming, vision systems, servo systems, robotics, paint systems, welding, machining, ergonomics, line balancing, MOST techniques, GD&T, PHSR/machine guarding, Six Sigma would be beneficial.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
- Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize tasks.
- Highly motivated, service-oriented individuals with attention to detail are required.
- Enthusiasm for challenges and new initiatives is a necessity.
- Strong analytical ability and supervisory skills are also necessary.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
