Senior Manufacturing Process Technologist

The Process Engineering Technologist will play a pivotal role in introducing new products, processes, and technologies into production at CB Canada. This exciting opportunity will see you review existing processes, manage technology transitions, and develop a cost-effective production process for new products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a manufacturing process for new products in collaboration with marketing and product design teams.
- Resolve process issues, improve efficiency, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in production.
- Manage process design projects, with a focus on timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to implement new manufacturing technologies and improve production equipment functionality.
- Ensure adherence to the company safety program and provide guidance to employees and subcontractors.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor and contribute to improvements in tracking and reporting procedures.
- A degree in Engineering or a diploma as an Engineering Technologist in Mechanical or a similar manufacturing discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in CAD drawing in 3D.
- Additional knowledge in areas like TS16949, ISO14001, PLC and HMI programming, vision systems, and robotics is an asset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
