About the Role:

Sideworx Connect Inc is seeking an experienced Centrifuge Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of centrifuges in various locations across Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, and troubleshoot centrifuges in-house and in the field
  • Assemble machines in compliance with quality procedures and control methods
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, follow oral and written instructions, and determine tools to use with full proficiency
  • Manipulate and orient large pieces of equipment safely and efficiently with the use of overhead cranes and forklifts
  • Follow and comply with all company Health and Safety and Quality policies

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working with industrial machinery and be mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge of proper handling and installation of bearings and seals would be an asset
  • Must have the ability to travel for work
  • Must have a clean driver abstract
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Overhead crane and forklift experience
  • Safety tickets – H2S, CSO, First-aid

Personal Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
