Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

Orbit Hydraulics (1988) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Mechanic to work on-site at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, repairing or replacing defective machinery parts, and fabricating parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.

Responsibilities
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Installing machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team player
Work Environment

The work environment will be noisy, with odours and dusty conditions. The work setting will involve machinery installation, maintenance, service, repair, overhaul, and machine set-up.
