About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Local Public Eatery. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment

As a Line Cook at Local Public Eatery, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
