We are a bakery and café committed to serving high-quality food and providing excellent customer service. As a Line Cook at The Bench Bakehouse, you will play a key role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are fulfilled efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
