About the Role

MPE Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Municipal Engineer to join our team in the Red Deer region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality municipal engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement municipal engineering projects from conceptualization to completion.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to design and deliver water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, stormwater management, and transportation projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate project details and outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer designation in Alberta (APEGA) or Technologist designation through ASET.
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Experience with water, sewer, and stormwater modeling software.
