Job Title: Municipal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Engineer to join our team in Red Deer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on various aspects of projects, from preliminary engineering to construction completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop detailed engineering plans and specifications
  • Conduct cost estimates and manage project budgets
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other design staff to deliver projects
  • Administer construction contracts and oversee field staff
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals
Our Red Deer Office:

Our Red Deer office is an ideal location for this role, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of municipal engineering projects, including water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, stormwater management, and transportation.

Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer designation in Alberta (APEGA) or Technologist designation through ASET
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience with water, sewer, and stormwater modeling software is an asset
