About the Position
Brand Momentum is seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to work independently at a retail location, approximately 3-4 hours per week in the Toronto area.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and attention to detail. You should be well-organized, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and have a talent for building strong business relationships. Previous experience as a merchandiser in a supermarket is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform merchandising tasks at one retail store, including restocking and maintaining sections.
- Address out-of-stock issues and ensure the store's floral department is well-stocked.
- Clean and dust display fixtures, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Water plants and flowers, and remove any dead or unsalable products.
- Submit daily visit reports and maintain a good relationship with the store manager.
- Visit the store twice a week to ensure the floral department is well-maintained.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Previous merchandising experience is an asset, but not required.
- Have a smartphone and access to the internet.
