Merchandising Specialist - Flowers and Plants

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for flowers and plants? Do you enjoy working independently and have excellent communication skills? We are seeking a Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic team at Brand Momentum.

About the Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to work as a Merchandising Specialist at multiple retail locations in the Toronto area. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining sections, restocking, and ensuring that the displays are visually appealing. You will also be responsible for addressing any out-of-stock issues, cleaning the sections, and submitting daily visit reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform merchandising tasks at multiple retail stores
  • Maintain sections, including restocking and ensuring the dead plants are removed
  • Address any out-of-stock issues
  • Clean the sections, including dusting display fixtures
  • Water the plants and flowers
  • Submit daily visit reports
  • Visit the store three times a week
  • Create and maintain a good relationship with the store manager
  • Remove any dead leaves or blooms
  • Remove any unsalable product
  • Take photos of the display

Requirements

You must have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and have an eye for detail. You should be well-organized, enjoy fast-paced work environments, and have excellent communication skills. Previous merchandising experience is an asset, but not a requirement. You must also have a smartphone and access to the internet.
