About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at Sanchez Drywall and Taper. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
