About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at s.s.w construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from project sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks, including framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and clean and pile salvaged materials.
Requirements
  • Physically demanding work environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, uniform, and cellular phone are required.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Reliability and accuracy are essential in this role.
