Job Title: Finish Carpenter

Elid Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Finish Carpenter to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, noisy environments, and dusty conditions
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working with tight deadlines
