About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at Simon Transportation Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Clerical and Administrative Duties: Perform routine clerical duties, including preparing and submitting reports, ensuring accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results.
  • Logistics Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders.
Work Environment

As a Logistics Operations Coordinator at Simon Transportation Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail at all times.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
