Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team at CF Markville Location. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring the store meets visual standards, and building a high-performing team that provides exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Motivate sales team to achieve sales targets and consistently look for ways to improve in-store strategies.
  • Develop a community culture through strong customer rapport and exceptional customer service.
  • Set weekly schedules, delegate tasks, and find ways to increase store sales through effective inventory management and merchandising.
  • Train, manage, and oversee e-commerce sales in-store, including processing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
  • Decrease store shrinkage by researching inventory discrepancies and problem-solving issues.
  • Responsible for weekly bank deposits, managing store expenses, and building a talent pipeline to develop top talent into leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date with new releases and upcoming products, and ensure the team is informed.
  • Work with the HR team to ensure all positions at the store are filled, and train new or newly promoted staff on their role and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for biweekly payroll submissions and ensuring the visual presentation is up to standard.
  • Host local events and initiatives while ensuring company standards are met.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience.
  • Strong background in leadership and building teams.
  • Comfortable and confident in making business-critical decisions.
  • Must be a fashion, sportswear, or footwear enthusiast.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and building Excel reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and goal-oriented individual.
  • Strong proficiency in IOS-based programs and products.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other MS Office programs.
