About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at BJS Indian Kitchen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • East Indian cuisine specialty
  • Permanent work term
  • 30 to 40 hours per week work schedule
