Medical Science Liaison Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Bausch Health. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of our medical strategy in the specialty group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide scientific and clinical expertise to Key Opinion Leaders and other healthcare professionals to enhance their understanding of complex scientific concepts and product-related data.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Canadian Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, researchers, and professional organizations in their therapeutic field.
  • Conduct key opinion leader mapping and gain medical insights on current market, clinical practice, patient flow, and other relevant areas.
  • Evaluate research proposals from institutions or individuals and provide support for the development and evaluation of preliminary protocols for investigator-initiated studies.
  • Supervise the execution of investigator-initiated trials and provide scientific and strategic support to ongoing post-marketing studies.
  • Support product and disease training for Bausch Health products to sales representatives.
  • Conduct scientific presentations for Bausch Health products or disease-related educational presentations.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to provide support for local initiatives, including educational programs, round tables, regional consult meetings, train-the-trainer, speaker tours, symposia, and conferences.
Qualifications:
  • Education: MD, PhD, or Master's degree in health sciences, PharmD, or bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Medical Science Liaison or related field position, or two years in another pharmaceutical position (e.g., Medical Advisor or specialty sales representative).
  • Bilingual.
  • Competencies: strong strategic thinking and networking skills, good scientific background, excellent communication and presentation skills, resourceful and flexible, and excellent team player with experience in cross-functional teams.
