Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Peace River Brewing. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Table Management: Manage table reservations, seating arrangements, and ensure timely service.
  • Cash Handling: Balance and deposit cash, maintain daily log books, and process customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Order and receive liquor and other supplies, maintain inventories, and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with chefs, servers, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or related setting.
  • Certifications: Food and Beverage Server Training, ProServe program, and First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
