- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, and provide patients with clear instructions and guidance.
- Provide acute care management and counseling services to patients and their families, addressing a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
