Job Title: Scrap Metal Shredder

We are seeking a skilled Scrap Metal Shredder to join our team at GLOBAL METAL SOURCES CO., LTD.

Job Summary

The Scrap Metal Shredder will be responsible for setting up, preparing, and adjusting processing machinery to ensure efficient material processing. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and prepare processing machinery for optimal performance
  • Make adjustments to machinery as needed to ensure efficient material processing
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials to meet quality standards
  • Provide job training and support to new team members
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
  • Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment to ensure smooth material flow
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, hot, and cold environment
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
