Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at SSS Services Inc. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal plates and sections to form structures, as well as setting up and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable products
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to fabricate components
  • Construct patterns and templates to ensure precise fit and finish
  • Install fabricated components in final products
Work Environment

As a Metal Fabricator, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy conditions, and in a dusty environment. You will also be required to work outdoors and in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Initiative, organized, and reliable with a strong work ethic
Language and Work Conditions

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent. The work hours are 40 hours per week.
