Position Overview

SSS Services Inc is seeking a dedicated Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with various metals to create and assemble components for a range of projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in metal fabrication
Work Environment

The work site may present challenges such as:

  • Noisy conditions
  • Working at heights
  • Exposure to dust
  • Outdoor settings
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing reference points and patterns for fabrication
  • Assembling and fitting metal plates and sections to construct structures
  • Welding or bolting sections together to ensure stability
  • Setting up and operating heavy-duty metal-working machinery
  • Creating patterns and templates for production
  • Installing fabricated components into the final product
Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Attention to detail in all tasks
