About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at SSS Services Inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying Out and Fabrication: Lay out reference points and patterns for metal fabrication projects, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Assembly and Fitting: Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using a combination of welding and bolting techniques.
  • Machining and Setup: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as shears, presses, and grinders, to fabricate metal components.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test fabricated components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a noisy, outdoor environment with exposure to dust and heights.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
