Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Representative to join our team at TechMate Traders.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 36 hours per week. As a Technical Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide access to computer networks and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in technical support or a related field is an asset.
