About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Paramedic to join our team. As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and responding to a wide range of medical and environmental emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
- Assess and treat patients in emergency situations
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment
- Participate in training and drills to maintain and improve skills
- Collaborate with other emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Develop and implement training programs for emergency responders
- Provide leadership and guidance to emergency response teams
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) or Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)
- Class 3 driver's license with Q endorsement
- Experience in emergency response, preferably in a refinery, upgrader, or chemical plant
- Strong knowledge of fire protection, fire, rescue, medical, and hazmat response
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
