Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Application Developer to join our team at BITPOS Solutions Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements, ensuring timely delivery and optimal user experience.
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for web applications, leveraging expertise in programming languages and frameworks.
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize ideas and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving business outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of websites, balancing aesthetics and functionality.
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, gathering insights to inform product development.
  • Create and optimize content for websites using various graphics, database, animation, and other software tools.
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications, working closely with designers and project managers.
  • Research and evaluate various interactive media software products, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity, promoting a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in web application development or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages like PHP, Ruby, or Python.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and back-end frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails, or Laravel.
  • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
