About the Role- This role involves reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and preparing layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
- You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in construction settings with various locations. They must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads, work under tight deadlines, and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements and Qualifications- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
As per collective agreement, this role offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The work term is permanent, with 40 hours worked per week. The work language is English. Please note that overtime may be required, and the workload can be physically demanding.
