We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Service Worker to join our team at Chezranti Community Centre Ltd.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for clients, as well as providing support and guidance to clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for clients, including individual and group counseling sessions, life skills workshops, and substance abuse treatment programs.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop specialized rehabilitation plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and their families, including crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
  • Collaborate with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices, including crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
