At Franklin Automation Inc., we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in automotive embedded test automation. Our team is seeking a skilled professional to join us in designing and developing cutting-edge test tools and infrastructure for our Quality Assurance (QA) team.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with top-tier clients on transformative, cutting-edge projects.
  • Gain international experience on global projects.
  • Explore multiple sectors like telecommunications, automotive, healthcare, and industrial automation.

The successful candidate will be involved in the development of test tools and test infrastructure to enable our QA team to complete functional and integration tests for production software. This role requires a strong understanding of software development, test automation, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing product requirements and evaluating potential technical solutions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with teams to design and implement efficient and cost-effective software solutions that span multiple domains.
  • Design, development, and testing of software components.
  • Documenting and validating software and test tool designs.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of software development in Python.
  • 1 year of software development in C++.
  • Familiarity with unit test frameworks.
What We're Looking For
  • A Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development in C++/Python.
  • Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
  • Embedded test & automation experience, (Linux OS, flashing devices, file transfers, logging, capturing telemetry, automation triage, etc.)
  • Automotive test experience, with CAN/LIN.
  • Creative and analytical thinker.
