Embedded Test Automation Developer

Syntronic, a global leader in design and development, is seeking an Embedded Test Automation Developer to join our Architecture and Software Platform group.

About the Role

As an Embedded Test Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software components for our software platform that enables connectivity and advanced application features within next-generation vehicles.

  • Collaborate with top-tier clients on transformative, cutting-edge projects.
  • Gain international experience on global projects.
  • Explore multiple sectors like telecommunications, automotive, healthcare, and industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze product requirements and evaluate potential technical solutions.
  • Design, development, and testing of software components.
  • Documenting and validating software and test tool designs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and cost-effective software solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~3 years of software development in Python.
  • ~1 year of software development in C++.
  • ~ Familiarity with unit test frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of software development in C++/Python.
  • ~ Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
  • ~ Embedded test & automation experience, (Linux OS, flashing devices, file transfers, logging, capturing telemetry, automation triage, etc.)
  • ~ Automotive test experience, with CAN/LIN.
  • ~ Creative and analytical thinker.
