Job Summary:

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking a qualified Electrical Systems Instructor to join our team in the Adult Education and Vocational Training department. As an Electrical Systems Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students in the installation, repair, modification, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems, as well as communication networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans for electrical systems training
  • Teach students in the installation, repair, modification, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems, as well as communication networks
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement training plans for students
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a comprehensive education

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Teaching experience in electrical systems training
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
