About the Role

The Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance tasks on our housing units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on housing units, including carpentry, heating, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Apply a preventive maintenance plan to ensure the upkeep of our housing units.
  • Participate in a callback system to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in maintenance work, including carpentry, electricity, heating, or plumbing.
  • Ability to work in two of the three languages of the region (Inuktitut, French, or English).
  • Valid driver's license required.
