About Central Barbers and Stylists

We are a reputable barbershop and hairstyling salon seeking a skilled Barber Stylist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional haircut and styling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Shave and Trim: Shave and trim beards and mustaches to perfection, using our high-quality equipment and techniques.
  • Hair Treatment: Provide other hair treatment services, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages to enhance client experience.
  • Color Services: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, using our state-of-the-art equipment and expertise.
  • Wig and Hairpiece Services: Clean and style wigs and hairpieces to ensure they look their best.
  • Consultation Services: Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a Barber Licence and have completed relevant training and certifications.
  • Skills: Demonstrate expertise in hair coloring techniques, including bleach, dyes, frosting, and streaking/highlights.
  • Security and Safety: Meet our security and safety requirements, including a criminal record check and bondable status.
  • Transportation: Have access to public transportation or be willing to relocate to our location.
  • Work Environment: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and team player skills.
  • Financial Benefits: Be eligible for a bonus and work a permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.
