Theatre Usher Role Summary

River Rock Show Theatre is seeking a skilled Theatre Usher to provide exceptional guest experiences in our live entertainment venue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Greeting guests and directing them to their assigned seating
  • Regulating the flow of guests in and out of the theatre
  • Responding to guest inquiries regarding resort events and amenities
  • Communicating effectively with operational departments
  • Building strong working relationships with internal and external teams
  • Complying with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be able to work on an as-needed basis, with varying shifts including early mornings and weekends
  • Have experience and/or interest in the live entertainment industry
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have customer service and/or hospitality experience
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Be able to stand for long periods
  • Have a second language as an asset
  • Hold a Serving It Right Certification or be able to achieve one
  • Pass a criminal record and credit check
  • Exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Commit to continually increasing your knowledge of our products and services to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
  • Be willing to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
