About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
    • Team player with excellent communication skills

Work Terms
  • Permanent position
