About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Design Technician to join our team at Naro Millwork Corp. As an Architectural Design Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design team in creating innovative and functional designs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to inform design decisions
  • Prepare working drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Supervise architectural technical staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Write specifications and estimates to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are feasible and cost-effective
  • Construct architectural and display models to visualize designs
  • Assist in design development to ensure designs meet client needs and expectations
  • Prepare presentation graphics and drawings to communicate designs to clients
  • Prepare conceptual designs to explore new ideas and concepts
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and edit designs
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Repetitive tasks and ability to work in a millwork shop environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain hand-eye coordination
