Interior Design AutoCAD technician


Julie Charbonneau Design is a full-service Interior Design Firm located in the heart of Toronto and we are looking for Senior AutoCAD Technician to join our team of highly creative and experienced professionals.


Principal duties and responsibilities

· Develop high quality drawings from concept to final design in AutoCAD (plans, elevations, millwork drawings, tender packages etc.)

· Perform and produce architectural drawings (residential and commercial) in classic cabinetry and construction details using AutoCAD


Interpersonal Skills

· Good ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Management priorities

· Dedicated team skills, with ability to work with timelines

· Punctual, responsible and multi task


Job Type:

· Permanent Full-time

Salary:

· Based on experience (Paid Bi-weekly)


Benefit Package:

· Dental and healthcare upon completion of Probation


Required Experience:

· 3+ years of interior design experience in Luxury Residence Design

· Advanced knowledge on classic style cabinetry

· Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Word and Power Point

· Knowledge of interior design principles and practices, codes and standards, finish and material science, specifications and interior construction techniques


Work Samples:

· Portfolio; Technical working drawing samples


Required Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or in Architecture or a 3-year college diploma in Interior Design from CIDA accredited Program
