### Senior Estimator Lead - ICI Projects

#### Job Summary

As a Senior Estimator Lead - ICI Projects, you will be responsible for leading a team of estimators in preparing detailed cost estimates and preliminary budgets for ICI design build and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of estimating experience, with a proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates and preliminary budgets. The successful candidate will also have experience conducting comprehensive quantity takeoff estimates while identifying risks and opportunities. In addition, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and work within a team.

#### Key Responsibilities

* Review drawings and specifications and identify the divisions of work.
* Engage in project development activities, including defining and clarifying scope, preconstruction planning, and developing control estimates for delivery.
* Provide preconstruction services by preparing preliminary budgets, cost plans, and identifying value engineering opportunities.
* Study plans and specifications clarifying location and document discrepancies.
* Oversee the preparation and execution of detailed quantity takeoff estimates, highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Confirm if there is a site visit and arrange attendance.
* Work with Subcontractors to understand their requirements.
* Negotiate and award contracts.
* Assist with Scheduling.

#### What You'll Need

* 8+ years of estimating experience in positions leading up to Senior Estimator role.
* Experience in ICI design build and renovation projects.
* Experience bidding on projects between $1M - $30M.
* Post-secondary diploma in a construction related discipline.
* Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates and preliminary budgets.
* Experience conducting comprehensive quantity takeoff estimates while identifying risks and opportunities.
* Ability to be client-facing and increase project pipeline.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to lead and work within a team.
* Familiar with project management and estimating software programs.
